Oct 4th, IEEE Day 2016 PES Quiz Competition"
IEEE Power & Energy Society Kerala Chapter is conducting a Quiz Competition for first year Engineerng students of all engineering Colleges in Kerala as part of world wide IEEE Day celebrations on Oct 4th. This is the 7th year of IEEE Day Celebrations held to commemorate the first meeting of the members of AIEE in 1884 and the 7th Quiz competition fòr first year engineering students by PES Kerala Chapter.
A 20 minutes competition during lunch interval is planned. (Total 40 qns: GK- 20, Current Affairs - 10 & Science and Engineering - 10).
Winner & runner-up qualifies for finals at the three Hub level competitions (Travancore, Kochi & Malabar) to be held in November. Certificates for winners & runners up atCollege level & Hub level and TA at Hub level participants and Prize money at Hub level winners.
Students are eligible for getting activity point of 10 at College level & 15 at Hub levels. Winners do get more points.
All first year students are invited to participate in the Quiz competition to be held on Oct 4th as part of IEEE Day 2016 celebrations.
