"Say THIS, Not That! (Save this for your next interview/exam ๐Ÿ’พ)"
๐Ÿ›‘๐Ÿ‘‡
Whether you are writing an essay, preparing for competitive exams, or just trying to speak more fluently, small grammar slips can change the game.
Here are a few quick rules to remember from the infographic above:
๐Ÿ”น Stative Verbs: We don't say "I am knowing" or "I am having." Use simple present: I know, I have.
๐Ÿ”น Redundancy: "Return" already means to go back. Drop the "back"!
๐Ÿ”น Uncountable Nouns: "Scenery" and "Advice" never take an 's' or 'an'. It's always beautiful scenery and some advice.
๐Ÿ“Œ Save this post so you can review it before your next big presentation, speaking test, or exam!
Which of these errors do you see people making the most? Let me know in the comments! ๐Ÿ‘‡
