A deep dive into Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) by our brilliant 3rd-year BSc Biotechnology students at Somaiya School of Basic and Applied Sciences Somaiya Vidyavihar University
From tracing antibiotic origins to tackling global resistance trends, each student broke down a specific antibiotic and proposed real-world solutions to fight AMR. 💊🌍
💬 The event also featured an inspiring Alumnus Interaction with Bhakti Chavan, AMR survivor and member of the WHO Task Force of AMR Survivors, who shared her personal journey with XDR-TB. Her session was a moving reminder of why AMR awareness and action—both scientific and societal—are critical. 🙌🗣️
