Watch the open interest on the 15800 CE 26 Aug 2021 on the close of 30th July 2021. Between 28th July and 30th July the OI had doubled and surpassed the OI on the 16000 CE for 26 Aug 2021. The price for the 16000 CE for Aug end was quite stable. Today was another story.

The cue to the move was there on the close of 30th July 2021.

Now if u were short 16000 CEs for Aug end nd did not want to cut just based on the buildup of the 15800 Aug end OI , what could you have done to reduce risk?
