The Institute of Science

The Institute of Science, Mumbai, formerly known as the Royal Institute of Science or R.I.S., was established in 1920. The Institute conducts M.Sc.

It is managed by the Government of Maharashtra and is affiliated to university of Mumbai. In the early years, the Institute had B.Sc. courses, although the main thrust is always on post-graduate studies and research.
