Our educational tour to Goa was an enriching experience that combined history, culture, and nature. We visited key historical sites like Old Goa, including the Basilica of Bom Jesus, Mangeshi temple, Agauda fort, to name a few and learned about the region's Portuguese colonial past. A day at the beach focused on marine ecology and fun in the water. The dolphin watch and the cruise made our hearts skip a beat. The sumptuous meals served at Villa Ceceliana brought out the flavours and essence of Goan Cuisine. Overall, the trip provided a valuable learning experience, blending education with the beauty and heritage of Goa.

Today was not just another day at MES's Chembur English High School. The day marked a significant milestone in the history of the school and the lives of those who were and are privileged to be a part of this remarkable community.

Mahatma Education Society's Chembur English High School in association with IIT Bombay organized a ‘Student Solar Ambassador’ workshop on 2nd October 2019, commemorating the 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, who epitomized the cause of non-violence (principles). It was a unique one-day training program with an aim to train the students and sensitize them towards harnessing solar energy. The event was graced by Chairman and CEO of Mahatma Education Society Dr. K. M. Vasudevan Pillai.
The workshop intended to establish "the universal relevance of the principle of non-violence towards the environment" and inculcate a desire for peace, tolerance, understanding, and non-violence towards environment among all human beings. The event culminated with lighting the solar lamp and by taking the pledge of non violence.

Poetry recitation competition
An inter house poetry recitation competition was organised on 26th Sept, 2019 at Mahatma Education Society’s Chembur English High School.The students came up with a varied array of poems written by the greatest poets of all times like William Wordsworth, Robert Frost, Nissim Ezekiel, Rabindranath Tagore and many more. The Students recited these classic poems with great zeal and enthusiasm. The Judges of the competition were Dr. Swasti Dhar and Miss. Ritu Tripathi.

Nobody can do for little children what grandparents do. Grandparents, sort of sprinkle stardust over the lives of little children. There's a special kind of love that grandchildren have for their grandparents. Its filled with respect for their wisdom and accomplishments.
With gratitude for the values they've given us, we at C.E.H.S believe in imparting these immensely important values to our future generation.
