Cotton Green railway station to be renamed to Kalachowki.
Many railway stations in Mumbai will have their names changed (these stations have names dating back to the British colonial era).
Among the proposed renamings are Cotton Green to Kalachowki, Currey Road to Lalbaug, Sandhurst Road to Dongri, Marine Lines to Mumbadevi, Charni Road to Girgaon, Dockyard to Mazgaon, and King's Circle to Tirthankar Parshvanath.
