A landmark moment for Pratham InfoTech Foundation as the newly inaugurated digital lab established under our FLN & STEM as Life Skills program at Adarsh Madhyamik Vidyalaya, located within the Jan Bhawan premises in Lucknow, was visited during the inauguration ceremony last week by Smt. Anandiben Patel (Hon’ble Governor of Uttar Pradesh), Shri Yogi Adityanath (Hon’ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh), Shri Keshav Prasad Maurya (Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh), Shri Brajesh Pathak (Hon’ble Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh), Shri Suresh Kumar Khanna (Hon’ble Minister of Finance and Parliamentary Affairs, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh), Smt. Gulab Devi [Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Secondary Education, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh], and Shri Sandeep Singh [Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Basic Education, Govt. of Uttar Pradesh].

For over two decades, Pratham InfoTech Foundation has been committed to transforming education through technology, impacting 3.7 million+ children across 5,000+ schools and bridging the digital divide for underserved communities.

When partnerships translate into on-ground impact, the results speak for themselves.
Pratham InfoTech Foundation recently hosted the Flipkart Foundation team in Mumbai for a partner visit under the ‘Digital Literacy and 21st-Century Skills for Employability’ programme. While the initiative is reaching ~1,250 youth across five community centres in Mumbai, it is expected to impact ~2,500 youth trainees across Mumbai and Bengaluru.
During the visit, learners showcased their skills through CVs, Excel projects, and digital work, reflecting growing confidence and job readiness. Alumni shared their placement journeys across sectors like retail, hospitality, and customer service, highlighting the programme’s strong training-to-employment linkage.
With nearly 70% women’s participation and ~60% placement outcomes in earlier batches, the programme continues to demonstrate consistent impact. Continuous learner support, mock interviews, and employer engagement further strengthen outcomes.
Partner visits like these play a key role in ensuring transparency, accountability, and meaningful engagement on the ground.
We thank Flipkart Foundation for their continued trust and collaboration in enabling pathways to employability.

Integration of technology in education is not only an add-on, but a necessity to bridge the digital divide and build a digitally literate nation.
In the academic year 2025–26, Pratham InfoTech Foundation deepened its work under the My e-School program across Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Uttarakhand, and Uttar Pradesh, reaching classrooms that are often the last to access digital opportunities.
Over 4600+ teachers were equipped to bring technology into their everyday teaching practices. Through focused capacity building, the effort brought together traditional pedagogy with technology-enabled learning, grounded in the vision of NEP 2020. From blended learning approaches to the use of digital infrastructure and the Digital Sakshar Teacher App, the focus remained clear: make technology usable, relevant, and classroom-ready.
Across all these geographies, the experience for teachers remained grounded in practice. From understanding FLN and ECCE in a digital context to classroom demonstrations, structured lesson planning, and real-time usage tracking, the journey was less about training and more about building confidence to try, adapt, and integrate.
As we continue to expand, each teacher becomes a catalyst, bringing technology closer to the classroom, and classrooms closer to opportunity. Since the inception of the My e-School program in 2022, Pratham InfoTech Foundation has reached 5,000+ schools, equipped 50,000+ teachers, and impacted over 6 lakh students. With a continued focus on strengthening the integration of technology in education, we are now working towards reaching a million children.
If this mission resonates with you, we invite you to partner with us. Write to us at [email protected].
