JEE Main 2022 Last Minute Preparation Tips -
Candidates appearing in the JEE Main exam 2022, must be going through a swing of feelings – anxiety😢, nervousness😵‍💫, tension🥵, excitement🫠. But amidst all these, it is necessary for them to stay grounded to give their best during the Joint Entrance Examination Main 2022 .
✍🏻One important point to note is that the last-minute preparation for JEE Main 2022 exam will be different from the normal one.
How effectively we use last-minute time🙇‍♀️🙇‍♂️ plays an important role in obtaining satisfactory results. The difference between winning 👨‍✈️👩🏻‍🚀 and losing 😭😭 is the attention paid to minute things that contribute therein.

Focus on your strengths🏋️‍♂️ and 🤺learn new things: 🤗 Try and focus on building your strengths. Make the strong points 🧗‍♀️ and topics of JEE Main 2022 strong such that you don't skip any questions pertaining to those topics. You must have studied🏇 and revised many times. Hone and sharpen those topics that you are good at and know well than the others.

Revise the important formulae: Use the short notes to revise the important pointers as well as the formulae. It is important to use short notes as there will be no time to check the chapters and topics in detail. You will have just enough time to skim through the most important points for each topic. 🏹Check those topics that are considered to have more weightage as per the past year's JEE Main question papers.

🤠🤠Keep it real : While many endorse doing mock tests, it is a reality that one or two mock tests can be done. To continuously sit and solve previous papers all day long is improbable and impossible too. It is also not the right method to go. So the best strategy is to do a mock test per day, analyze and then revise. This ensures that you correct the mistakes you made and don't repeat them in the actual exam which is what matters. 🎯Don't let a bad mock test performance hinder or demoralize you. It is important to keep grounded

*JEE Main 2020 (April) Final Strategy | Last Minutes Preparation Tips for JEE aspirants*

Here we will explain you how to make the best use for remaining days to maximize your JEE Main 2020 April Attempt Score!

It’s is about time and it is expected that most of you would have completed the syllabus for the upcoming JEE Main examination. And by now most of you would be worried about your revision, but here are a few strategies that can help with you with your revision and make you a top ranker:-

1. *Increase your focus*
This year JEE MAIN will be more about accuracy rather than speed. To maintain accuracy you need to increase your focus by solving as many questions as possible. While practicing make sure you concentrate and ensure that no other thought passes through your mind.

2. *Give a continuous sitting of three hours*
Train your brain to study for 3 hours continuously as it will be of great help on the day of the examination. While solving problems at home, you must solve 75 to 90 problems(25 to 30 of each subject) without giving a break to yourself.

3. *Work on your strong areas*
This is the time when you should focus on your strong topics. Do not spend time on the chapters to which you haven’t given much importance as this is the time to make your strong topics even stronger.

4. *Do not worry if some part of the syllabus is left out*
Remember that even after skipping 20 percent of your syllabus you would be able to solve 75 to 85 percent of your question paper. Make sure you maintain accuracy. And don’t panic if you haven’t finished off your syllabus as it is easy to score sufficient marks that can land you to an NIT.

5. *Solve Previous Year Papers*
Solve all the questions that were asked in JEE ADVANCED previous years (single correct and numerical answer type only):-

It has been observed that questions that were asked in JEE ADVANCED in previous years are asked as it is or with a minor change in the JEE Main. So do solve all the problems asked in the previous years. Also, questions asked in JEE ADVANCED (single correct and numerical answer type) which are now no more asked in JEE MAIN are still important and can be asked this year as the examiners would have to prepare 6 sets of papers each for January and April attempt.

Solve one previous year paper of JEE MAIN daily and properly analyze your mistakes and work on them.

Take tests at home daily by solving previous year JEE Main paper make sure you are away from all the distractions. These tips will help you to identify your mistakes and improve accordingly.

“In the end, have faith in yourself and do your best.
We are sure each one of you will ace the examination with flying colors.”

All the best!

# How to prepare/read chemistry
# How to score high in chemistry
tips for chemistry

Chemistry is the only subject where choosing the correct books becomes somewhat tough. Here is a comparison of some of the best books to refer to for JEE Advanced Chemistry syllabus.

Best Books for JEE Advanced Chemistry: A Comparison
Chemistry is the only subject where choosing the correct books becomes somewhat tough. The reason for the same is that there are different good books for each unit, for theory, and numerical. For chemistry's preparation, one always needs to get a combination of multiple books leading to confusion about which one to buy.

Chemistry is the subject that requires an ample amount of learning and so a good theory book is a must. Moreover, to retain all that you have learnt, a good book with lots of questions is equally important. This article aims to reduce your confusions to a large extent by discussing at length the best books that you must buy to do well in JEE Advanced.

Organic Chemistry
Organic chemistry requires a deep understanding of all the reaction mechanisms and thus, one needs excellent theory materials to refer to. The following books will help you in understanding concepts and their applications too.

Reactions, Rearrangements and Reagents by S.N. Sanyal:
This small book is a great guide for mechanisms, reagents and named reactions. You will get almost all named reactions and reagents in this along with their detailed mechanism. This is a must-try book to prepare Chemistry from the JEE Advanced point of view. Having all mechanisms and reactions in one place really helps during revision. This book is meant for theory purposes only.

Solomons’ Organic Chemistry:
This is a comprehensive book for the entire theory portion of organic chemistry. It has all the mechanisms and reactions well explained. There are a few problems too at the end of each chapter. The book isn’t specifically meant for JEE so do refer to the JEE Advanced syllabus while using it. You can use this book to build a strong base in organic chemistry. But once you are done with the theory, make sure to practice enough questions from some other source too.

GRB Advanced Problems in Organic Chemistry by Himanshu Pandey:
This is one of the best books to practice problems in the organic chemistry of the JEE Advanced level. This book contains lots of questions that start from a basic JEE Mains level and then they go up to the advanced level. This book is perfect for you to practice problems in organic chemistry right from scratch. The book has a variety of question types as well but the book lacks solutions to the questions and has got answers only. Overall, this book is quite good to prepare organic chemistry from the JEE Advanced point of view.

Advanced problems in organic chemistry by MS Chouhan:
This book is a highly advanced version of the Himanshu Pandey book stated above. This book lacks basic level questions and has a good amount of high-quality questions. This book is not meant for beginners but it will really help you if you already have practiced basic organic chemistry and you are looking to take a step ahead.

Inorganic Chemistry
Inorganic chemistry requires a lot of rote learning. Once you have learnt the theory portions from NCERT you would have to practice it sufficiently so that you are able to recall theory easily during the exam. Practicing will help you retain large amounts of theory. Here are a few good books that you can use to perfect inorganic chemistry in the best possible manner:

Inorganic chemistry by OP Tandon:
This book will have a mix of theory and problems too. However, it is mostly used for questions only as NCERT is the standard book for inorganic theory. The questions are good and some are really logical. The questions will help you remember lots of concepts and the book will definitely help you in chapters like qualitative analysis and s, p, d and f blocks. There are separate challenging questions given in the book which will really help you for JEE Advanced.

Problems in inorganic chemistry by VK Jaiswal:
This book is really good for practicing inorganic chemistry. It has various question types and the difficulty of questions is variable too. The book is slight of a higher level and you would need to refer to a good theory book like JD Lee for some questions. This book will make you prepare well for all difficult questions of JEE Advanced inorganic chemistry.

Inorganic chemistry for JEE by JD Lee:
This book has various versions but you must go for the JEE Advanced one because the other ones might have a lot of portions that aren’t meant for JEE. This book will further help you in understanding concepts of inorganic chemistry. Once you are done with NCERT you can refer to this book too especially for conceptual chapters like chemical bonding and coordination compounds. These chapters are given in a very interesting way in this book and you would never forget them once you go through it. Do refer to the syllabus while going through this book!

Physical Chemistry
Physical chemistry is that portion where practice of questions matters the most. This portion is the least learning and most application. Here are a few books that you can use to become the master of JEE Advanced physical chemistry:

Numerical Chemistry by P Bahadur:
This book is one of the best books for practicing physical chemistry. This book contains negligible theory but has a huge number of solved examples to explain each and every concept in detail. The questions that follow are extremely good too. The book can be used by beginners as well as advanced learners. The good mix of solved examples will really make your concepts of each physical chemistry chapter crystal clear.

Modern Approach to Chemical Calculations by R. C. Mukherjee:
This book is slightly more basic than P Bahadur and can be used if you don’t want to dig very deep into physical chemistry. This book also has some good solved examples and the book is perfect for beginners. You can use it in combination with one advanced level book to go smoothly from a basic to a higher level.

Physical Chemistry for Competitions by O. P. Tondon and A. S. Singh:
This book unlike the other is a complete package as it contains decent theory with good questions. The book is widely used for physical chemistry and contains different varieties of questions. The questions start from a basic level and go to a higher level. You would get a good and complete understanding of JEE physical chemistry with this book.

Apart from the above unit wise books, Cengage books are good for entire JEE chemistry in general. They have a good mix of theory and questions and can be used if one doesn’t want to go ahead with too many different books for theory and practice.

JEE chemistry might seem like a tough one compared to the other two subjects where choices are easier to make. But the plus point of chemistry is that it fetches you some easy marks. Go ahead and prepare well and use chemistry to boost your score.
All the best!
