Our current group of 385 TFI Fellows and 80 alumni comes from some of the top colleges and corporation across India, including IIT, St. Xavier's, St. Stephen's, Symbiosis and ICICI Bank, Godrej Industries, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Power and others. The Fellows have completed an intensive residential training in Pune, and have now been placed as full-time teachers for 2 years in 130 low-income under-resourced English Medium primary schools across Mumbai, Delhi and Pune.

Teach For India is a nationwide movement of outstanding college graduates and young professionals who will commit two-years to teach full-time in under resourced schools and who will become lifelong leaders working from within various sectors toward the pursuit of equity in education.

Teach For India is a nationwide movement of high potentialcollege graduates and young professionals who teach full-time in low-income schools for two years, and are transformed to become life-long leaders, across sectors in the pursuit of educational equity. To this end, Teach For India offers a 2-year, full-time, paid Fellowship. The Fellowship is modeled on the immensely successful program by Teach For America, in the United States over the last 20 years.
