Hands on cooking helps children develop confidence, it helps them follow directions and encourages them to be independent.
Fine motor and hand-eye coordination skills are developed with grating, mixing and spreading.
Cooking also encourages children's thinking, problem-solving skills and creativity.

Hello, my name is Lata and I work with young children between the ages of 2 and 10 by incorporating the informal, activity-based and creative learning techniques of the Play-way method.
Children at this age are usually unable to sit and focus for long periods of time. I gradually increase their attention span for the specific task at hand through play and through activities tailored to their natural interests. This builds a strong foundation that will help them throughout their academic career.
I also take on curriculum oriented activities, experiments & crafts and teach academic languages like Hindi & Marathi.
I have studied Montessori from Nirmala Niketan way back when the Play-way method of teaching was first introduced and have been helping children for over 25 years.
