The tasks are simple, but the competition isn't because teams from all over India will give in everything to bag the 1st prize.

"Every once in a while, a new technology, an old problem, and a big idea turn into an innovation."
Techfest, IIT Bombay, in association with Science Olympiad Foundation, presents the 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗴𝗲!
Biomedical waste is highly hazardous, causing high contamination and cross-contamination risks to both people and the environment. COVID-19 accounted for 33% of the biomedical waste generated in India in May 2021, when the country saw the highest number of new cases. This put significant pressure on an already overburdened biomedical waste treatment system.
In this challenge, participants have to tackle the problem of biomedical waste management generated during COVID times. Students of classes 8th, 9th, and 10th are eligible. The final submissions will be judged by professors from IIT Bombay.
Cash prizes of 𝗜𝗡𝗥 𝟱𝟬,𝟬𝟬𝟬 are at stake, register for 𝗙𝗥𝗘𝗘 at techfest.org/ic!
