For years, many women with PCOS felt confused because their symptoms were never “just about ovaries.”

Some struggled with acne, weight gain, fatigue, irregular periods, hair fall, mood swings, or difficulty conceiving - while hearing, “Everything looks normal.”

Now, experts are shifting from the term PCOS to PMOS (Polyendocrine Metabolic Ovarian Syndrome) because this condition affects much more than just ovaries. It involves hormones, metabolism, insulin resistance, emotional health, and the entire body.

And maybe that’s why healing PCOS/PMOS is never only about one symptom.

Your sleep matters.
Your stress matters.
Your lifestyle matters.
Your emotional health matters. 🌸

She had Ayurveda. She had Garbhasanskar.
She had love — in the only language she knew.

Forward this to your maa. No caption needed.
She'll know. 🌸

Here are 4 facts about motherhood nobody tells you — but every mother deserves to know 👇

🌸 1. Your baby's cells live inside you — forever.
After birth, fetal cells migrate into the mother's body and stay there for decades. In your heart. In your brain. Science calls it microchimerism. You and your child are biologically never apart.

🌸 2. Pregnancy rewires your brain — for the better.
The parts of your brain that sense danger, read emotions, and feel love become stronger after pregnancy. That gut feeling you get about your child? It's not instinct alone. It's neuroscience.

🌸 3. Your voice literally builds your baby's brain.
Babies who heard their mother's voice in the womb developed a larger auditory cortex — the brain's hearing centre. Every time you talk, sing, or hum to your bump, you are doing real, measurable brain development.

🌸 4. Babies named their mothers — in every language.
"Ma" is the first sound most babies make. And almost every language on earth built its word for mother from exactly that sound. Maa. Mama. Mère. Mae. Mamma. Your baby called you into existence.

Garbhasanskar understood all of this 5,000 years ago — that the mother is not just a vessel. She is the environment. The first teacher. The first world.

This Mother's Day — to every mother reading this: what you are doing is bigger than you know. 💛

Save this & share it with a mother who needs to hear it. 🌸

You've been teaching yoga for years. But when a student says "I eat well, I practise daily — why do I still feel off?" — do you have a real answer?
Most yoga teacher trainings don't teach this. And it's not your fault.

Ayurveda is the science that yoga was always paired with. It explains why the same pose, the same food, the same routine — works beautifully for one person and completely backfires for another.

Not everything ancient is outdated.
Some traditions were designed to support women’s health, postpartum care, and feminine hygiene in ways we are only beginning to rediscover today. 🌿

For generations, Ayurvedic feminine care included mindful rituals that supported healing, recovery, and long-term well-being — not just temporary relief.

Yonidhupan, a traditional Ayurvedic yoni care practice, reminds us how deeply Ayurveda understood reproductive health, vaginal health, and postpartum recovery.

In today’s fast-paced world, reconnecting with traditional Ayurvedic practices can help us approach feminine care with more awareness and respect.
