Tangra Macher ( Cat Fish ) One pot recipe ( Bati chorchori )

Tangra Fish (English name is catfish) is a member of any of the five species of Mystus. It is a carnivorous fish, usually a bottom-feeder delicious fish.It is also called Gangetic Mystus.

If you have less time in hand then this is one of the tastiest recipe that gets prepared in 15 mins.

Ingredients required:

Tangra Fish - 500 gm
Onion - 3 ( Chopped )
Tomato - 2 chopped
Green Chilli - 7 to 8 slitted
Turmeric Powder - 1 tsp
Mustard Oil - 150gm to 200 gm ( this recipe does require oil )
Coriander leaves - 2 hand full
Salt - As per taste

Clean and cut the fishes , then add all the ingredients together with it and mix it with your hand for 5 mins properly.

Now take a kadhai and put it inside it and cover it and put the kadhai on over and put the sim in low. And cook till everything softens and the oil gets seperated completely and the water released from it gets dried completely.
( Don't add water or sugar in it )

Serve it with Hot Steam rice
