What do you do when the centre of the ceiling is already doing all the talking?

For House Of Hiranandani | Clubhouse Chennai, designed by Drishti Architects & ID , the lighting was carefully planned around the peripheral ceiling, allowing the central decorative elements to remain the visual focus.

Across the clubhouse, each layer works with the rich material palette of timber, brick and patterned surfaces, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere.

A considered balance of function, detail and ambience designed to let the architecture lead.

Before you light your living room, watch this.

A well-designed living room needs more than uniform brightness. It needs layers, contrast and depth with lighting that adapts to how the space is actually used.

Think ambient lighting, accent lighting and indirect light instead of making one ceiling fixture do all the work.
And never forget: the best lighting is often about where you don’t put the light.

Save this for your next interior project.

How do you light a ceiling you can’t hide anything in?

For Beyond the Lab, designed by RASHI VORA, the challenge was working with a completely exposed ceiling, where ducts, pipes, electrical services and other elements remained visible.

Every position and alignment had to be carefully coordinated to maintain visual order without compromising the raw, contemporary character of the workplace.

From workspaces and circulation areas to meeting rooms and architectural details, layered illumination creates definition, hierarchy and visual comfort throughout the space.

The result is a considered workplace where the exposed ceiling isn’t concealed, it becomes part of the architecture.

Good workplace lighting is about creating a balance between how a space functions and how it feels.

At Sky Office, designed by SSA Architects , lighting becomes an integral part of the workplace architecture, shaping distinct environments while maintaining a cohesive visual language throughout.

A layered approach brings together ambient, functional, decorative and architectural lighting to respond to everything from curved forms and feature walls to meeting spaces, greenery and detailed ceiling elements. The result is a contemporary workplace where every lighting element has a purpose and every space has its own identity.

Your lights might be making your home feel wrong.

It’s not always about the fixture.
Sometimes, it’s the colour temperature.

From the warm, relaxed glow you bedroom needs to the crisp, functional light your kitchen demands, every space calls for a different temperature.

Right temperature. Right mood. Right space.
Because good lighting isn’t just about how bright a room is. It’s about how it feels.
