Still carrying the energy of this day.
The workshop was full of honesty, warmth, insight, and drive. So many women showed up not just to attend, but to learn, reflect, and rise. That kind of energy cannot be faked. It comes from real hunger for growth.
My heartfelt thanks to IndianOil Mauritius for this collaboration. Proud to do this work as Dr Krishna Athal, helping individuals and organisations through coaching, leadership consulting, and high-impact training.

A beautiful day. A full room. A powerful cause.
We gathered for a deeply meaningful workshop focused on business skills, financial literacy, and digital transformation for women building from home in Mauritius. These are not small stories. These are women building families, futures, and dignity.
Thank you to IndianOil Mauritius for the collaboration. And for those looking to bring powerful speaking, coaching, or workshops to their people, Dr Krishna Athal is here to serve.

The higher you climb, the quieter it gets.
This September, I am honoured to take the TED stage in Washington to speak on something we rarely admit out loud: "The Loneliness of Success".
We celebrate the wins. We post the milestones. But few talk about the strange silence that follows, the sense of being surrounded yet unseen.
It is not weakness. It is a nervous system that has spent years in performance mode, and relationships that were built around your role rather than your self.
More soon. For now, I am simply grateful to share this stage and this story.

A daughter does not lose her father the day he leaves. She loses him slowly, in the missed birthdays and the silent school forms.
What divorce takes from a little girl is rarely just a man. It is a mirror, a benchmark, a felt sense of her own worth.
In my new article, I explore what actually happens inside a fatherless daughter, why two patterns repeat in adulthood, and what genuinely helps her heal.

Growing Up Without a Father After Divorce: What Really Happens to a Daughter - Dr Krishna Athal
Growing up without a father after divorce shapes a daughter's psychology, identity, and how she loves. This is what happens inside her, and how she heals.

Yesterday, 35 educators reminded me that leadership is not taught first. It is watched.
At BBSPM’s Oxford Schools, we explored ownership, accountability and ethical leadership. But beneath the frameworks was a quieter truth: children learn the adult world before they enter it.
They notice how we disagree. How we repair. How we use power. How we avoid discomfort and call it peace.
Perhaps school leadership begins here: not with better control, but with deeper self-mastery.
I’ve shared my full reflection in the article.

Some events fill seats. Others fill people with belief.
This workshop reminded us that when women are given the right space, tools, and encouragement, something shifts. Confidence grows. Vision sharpens. Possibility becomes real.
Grateful to IndianOil Mauritius for supporting this initiative, and honoured to facilitate this journey as Dr Krishna Athal through psychology-led coaching, leadership development, and transformational learning.

We have stopped helping our wounded. We film them instead.
Every week, another Mauritian is recorded mid-collapse on a synthetic drug, turned into a reel, mocked, shared, forgotten.
But the camera does not capture the real story. The trauma underneath. The silence at home. The nervous system begging for escape. The shame that finishes what the drug started.
If you have ever scrolled past one of these videos, this article is for you.
Read the full piece on my blog and let it sit with you.

What a powerful gathering this was!
Our workshop for Women Home-Based Workers in Mauritius brought together women with courage, hunger, ideas, and the willingness to grow. The room was full, but more importantly, it was alive with ambition.
Deep gratitude to IndianOil Mauritius for collaborating on this meaningful initiative, and proud to lead such spaces as Dr Krishna Athal, helping people and organisations grow through coaching, leadership training, and human transformation.

This was more than a workshop. It was a statement.
A statement that women building from home deserve serious investment, practical tools, and real opportunities. A statement that growth begins when courage meets the right support.
Thank you to IndianOil Mauritius for standing with us in this initiative. And thank you to every participant who made the room so powerful. As Dr Krishna Athal, I remain committed to creating spaces that transform people, teams, and organisations from the inside out.

Ask a man what he wants in a woman and he will say kindness, humour, beauty.
Ask him what makes him feel safe, and he goes quiet.
Because the truth was never given words.
The safety a man looks for is not about strength. It is the freedom to lower his guard, to be tired, uncertain, even wrong, and still be respected.
To be honest without it being used against him later.
We taught women to expect safety. We shamed men out of admitting they need it too.
New on the blog. My honest look at the emotional safety men quietly search for.

The Safety a Man Looks For in a Woman: What He Feels But Rarely Says - Dr Krishna Athal
What emotional safety does a man look for in a woman, before and after love? A psychologist unpacks the quiet need most men feel deeply but rarely speak aloud.
