Rotary club of sree narayana guru have successfully conducted the white revolution

The White Revolution is an outcome of an instantaneous idea. It is an awareness campaign about feeding the needy people instead of pouring litres of milk on the idol of Shiva, on the eve of Mahashivratri.

Our aim is to make people aware about the better use of milk on the occasion of Mahashivratri. The White Revolution saw more than 70 + rotaractors urging a crowd of more than 10,000 to offer only a tablespoon of milk on the Shivling and donate the rest for the needy. We collected 34 litres of milk and distributed them in slums and in an orphanage named Sevadan which is near Diamond garden, Chembur.
