March 31, 2026, is actually Mahavir Jayanti! It is one of the most significant festivals in Jainism, celebrating the birth anniversary of Lord Mahavira, the 24th and last Tirthankara (spiritual teacher).
Since you are in Bihar, this day holds even deeper local roots—Lord Mahavira was born in Kundagrama (modern-day Vaishali district) and attained Nirvana in Pawapuri, both right here in your home state.
