👀 “Remember Lot’s Wife” — A Warning From Jesus

When Jesus Christ gave prophetic teaching about the last days in Luke 17:32, He paused and gave one of the shortest yet most sobering commands in Scripture:
“Remember Lot’s wife.”

Three words.
One warning.
A lifetime of revelation.

To understand why this matters, we have to go back to Genesis 19.
God was delivering Lot and his family out of the wicked cities of S***m and Gomorrah before judgment fell.

The instruction was clear:
Do not look back.

Yet as fire fell and mercy led her out, Lot’s wife turned… and became a pillar of salt.

This wasn’t just a glance.
It was a heart posture.

She left physically—but not emotionally.
She escaped geographically—but not spiritually.

🔥Jesus wasn’t just reminding us of history. He was revealing a principle:
Looking back can cost you your future.

Lot’s wife represents a divided heart:
* Delivered, but still attached
* Saved, but still longing
* Leaving, but still loving what God judged

Her body walked out of S***m.
Her heart stayed in it.

⚠️ Why Jesus tells us to remember her⚠️
Because the greatest danger for believers is not always going back physically—it’s going back inwardly.

You can be:
* in church but missing the world
* free but craving bo***ge
* called forward but staring backward

When God calls you out, He calls you forward. Grace leads you out—but faith keeps you moving.

🧂LASTLY, salt preserves things.
Lot’s wife became what she refused to release.

Whatever you keep looking back at, you start preserving.

That’s why Paul later says, “forgetting those things which are behind… I press forward.”

🙌 Today’s declaration:
I will not look back at what God delivered me from. My heart is set forward. My future is greater than my past.✝️❤️🙏🏾
