BREAKING — UTTAR PRADESH
Reports of attacks, vandalism and severe traffic disruption involving some Kanwariyas during the Kanwar Yatra are raising serious law-and-order concerns across Uttar Pradesh.
In Hapur, a 24-year-old Muslim man, Azeem, reportedly died after allegedly being brutally assaulted by a group following a road accident involving Kanwariyas. He reportedly remained in a coma before his death. Police have registered cases from both sides, while the circumstances surrounding the assault and death remain under investigation.
No religious procession should become a license to harass the public, damage property, or take the law into its own hands. Every citizen's life, dignity and safety must be protected equally under the law.

CJP has alleged that protesters in Bihar were fired upon with AK-47 rifles and other fi****ms, that many students have been illegally detained, and that Muslims were selectively targeted during the crackdown. The organization has called for an independent investigation and accountability.
