Some people think that the main benefit of international cooperation is in the protection of the environment, while others believe that businesses mainly benefit.
Discuss both views and give your opinion.

SOLUTION:
It is the belief of certain people that environmental conservation is greatly enhanced due to compatibility among nations around the globe. On the other hand, there is another segment of society that feels, the commercial sector gets greater rewards due to this. I feel the former view holds more ground as the problems related to the environment are majorly global.

To better understand, the issues related to the natural ecosystem are rampant around the world and are affecting the humans, the flora as well as fauna. These have led to some extreme consequences for some nations irrespective of whether they contributed to it or not. Therefore, a mutual understanding and formulation of policies amicably will help to mitigate the rising dangers of global warming and pollution. To exemplify, reduction of carbon emissions by one country will not solve the green house gas overload for the whole world. It requires a combined initiative from all nations. Moreover, it is also a known fact that national boundaries are drawn by government but, the natural environment exists on both sides of the border and has similar characteristics in most cases. Hence a better understanding among neighboring nations related to maintenance and development of the environment will have more fruitful consequences.

On the flip side the opponents argue the benefits are more for businesses as they believe the present era has seen the upsurge of globalization, which is the direct result of international alliances. The masses around the world have become conscious and demand a variety of consumer goods, food and many other such products. The demand is tapped by the commercial bodies and this is facilitated by international accords. For instance, various multinational companies are setting up businesses in different parts of the world and in turn gaining profits. The incline in exports and imports around the globe is also due to multiple agreements among countries. For instance, not all nations are self-sufficient and do require material which is deficient in their host country. So, this demand and market is prevalent in all nations which is easily satiated by international deals.

The crux of the content is that, protection of the environment is critical and concerns everyone in the world and can be best solved by international cooperation. However, people have different views.
