The National Defence Academy(NDA) is a Joint Services academy of the Indian Armed Forces, where cadets of the three services, the Army, the Navy and the Air Force train together before they go on to pre-commissioning training in their respective service academies. NDA Ranked 8th Toughest College In The World To Get Into
National Defence Academy
NDA is a Joint Services academy of the Indian Armed Forces. This means that cadets of the three services, the Army, the Navy and the Air Force train together before they go on to pre-commissioning training in their respective service academies. Located at Khadakwasla near Pune, it is the first tri-service academy in the world.
NDA has been a premier military training institute since its inception. Given the facts that NDA alumni include 3 PVC recipients and many chiefs of staffs is the reason enough why NDA cadets are respected in a sense that is undefinable. All the current chiefs of staffs are alumni of NDA.

Nearly 3,00,000 students appear for the entrance exam for NDA out of which only 365 are called in final merit list.
But wait… NDA is not only the toughest military training academy to get into in India but it is the 8th hardest college in the world to get an admission into according to various news reports. The fact that it has very low acceptance rate is the reason enough why NDA cadets are so highly trained and skilled.
NDA imparts quality training to its cadets, better than all other military training academies from across the globe. It also trains cadets from friendly foreign nations who turn out to be the chiefs of staffs of their respective forces. NDA has its own standards of imparting education – one of the best in the world.
The ranking is in line with the top colleges like Harvard University, MIT, Stanford, and so on.
One more college from India, IIT Delhi made it to the list. IIT Delhi is the 5th hardest college to get an admission into. Its campus extends to an area of 320 acres, and has an acceptance rate of 2.5% through the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE).
