We are deeply saddened by the untimely demise of an warrior, our ex student Dr Santu Mandal, who, despite battling continuously with the disease termed as imminent death, always carried a smiling face and a caring hand until those hands stopped to move anymore, the flickering of his life, after helping many to a newer dawn, finally set down to a early dusk to darkness. He will though, live in our bereaved hearts as a king. We're gonna miss you, Dada. May your soul carry your smile to heaven and rest in forever peace.

In solidarity with North Bengal medical College after the disgraceful incident of atrocities shown against the on duty doctors. We being a part of the medical fraternity strongly condemn the incident and gathered yesterday for the betterment of the scenario and protection of doctors with posters demanding justification for these kind of incidents frequently taking place all over the country.

Midnapore medical college students'union is pleased to announce that we are organizing “SWABHIMAN 2018”,on 25 th of August ,2018.Our college is not only a place to earn our degree it is a place which has nurtured us like a mother ,has introduced us to the possibilities of the external world like a father,has stayed beside us in our tough times like a sibling and helped us to create memories like a friend.so on that day we will pay our homage to our mother institution in the morning and in the afternoon we will embrace the crucial contribution of a doctor ,of a teacher,of a youth in a society .This program will also give a chance to the students to explore their cultural side.

5 liters of blood !!! Sounds enough!!! A single accident ,an operation ,a delivery all you need in such a situation is blood.Trust us the biggest crisis that the patient party faces is not the crisis of the doctors, it's the crisis of the blood.As a doctor we could just finish our duty by writing the requisition for blood.Being doctors,we see this scenario each and every moment especially in the months of summer. Being empathetic with the situation we ,the doctors frequently organize blood donation camps.after all we are also humans,our ecg also has the same P,Q,R,S,T waves as of others in spite of repeatedly being marked as evils rather DEMONS. MIDNAPORE MEDICAL STUDENTS' UNION AND ALUMNI ASSOCIATION jointly had organized a blood donation camp entitled DROPS OF HOPE on 8 th May 2018 with great success.
