Fire Safety Mock Drill & Awareness Program Conducted at Bhaktivedanta Gurukula and International School (BGIS), Vrindavan
Today, Bhaktivedanta Gurukula and International School (BGIS) organized an informative and educational Fire Safety Mock Drill Program for students and teachers to spread awareness about fire safety and emergency preparedness. On this occasion, the Fire Brigade Department from Mathura District visited the campus and conducted practical demonstrations for everyone. π
During the program, the fire safety officers explained what should be done first in case of a fire emergency and how to remain calm and act wisely during critical situations. They also shared valuable information about different types of fire incidents such as kitchen fires, short circuits, gas leakage fires, and other emergency situations, along with the correct methods to control them safely. π₯
The officers further demonstrated how to prepare an emergency stretcher during rescue situations. Students actively participated in the activity and learned how an injured person can be safely carried and taken for medical assistance during emergencies. βοΈ
The Fire Brigade Department also demonstrated the practical use of Carbon Dioxide (COβ) fire extinguishers and wet sacks to control and extinguish fire effectively. Students witnessed live demonstrations showing how proper techniques and timely action can help prevent major accidents. π¨
At the end of the session, the officials introduced the functioning of the fire brigade vehicle, explaining the water pressure, water speed, and force used during firefighting operations. A live fire extinguishing demonstration was also presented, which was attentively observed and appreciated by all students and teachers. ππ
The entire program was highly informative, inspiring, and beneficial for everyone present. In todayβs world, awareness about fire safety and disaster management is extremely important so that individuals can protect themselves and help others during emergency situations. π
This training and practical demonstration session was successfully conducted by Mr. Vinod Kumar Sharma along with supporting officers Mr. Yogesh Kumar Yadav, Mr. Lochan Singh, and Mr. Vivek Saraswat. Their guidance and practical demonstrations made the session highly impactful and educational. π¨βππ₯
This successful program was conducted under the guidance of BGIS Principal Ms. S. G. Mahapatra Mataji and BGIS Dean H.G. Radhakanta Prabhu. πΈ
We sincerely express our gratitude to the Mathura Fire Brigade Department and all the respected officers for sharing their valuable knowledge, experience, and practical training with our students and staff members. π
