Students Present Skit on National Senior Citizens Day

Kotdharmu (Mansa): National Senior Citizens Day was celebrated at Sahibzada Jujhar Singh Public Senior Secondary School, Kotdharmu. On this occasion, the girls of Class 11 presented an impactful skit on the theme “Spend Time with Your Grandparents and Share Happiness.”

Mrs. Babbujeet Kaur and Mrs. Ena Paul supported the students in preparing the skit. Mrs. Babbujeet Kaur also addressed the students during the morning assembly, highlighting the importance of senior citizens in our lives and inspiring students to respect them.

School Principal Mrs. Satvinder Kaur appreciated the students for their excellent performance and encouraged everyone to respect senior citizens and spend quality time with them.

🌿 Nasha Mukt Vidyalaya Abhiyan – National Pledge Against Drug Abuse 🌿

Sahibzada Jujhar Singh Public Senior Secondary School, Kotdharmu, Mansa conducted a special awareness activity under the Nasha Mukt Vidyalaya Abhiyan during the morning assembly.

On this occasion, Mrs. Ena Paul and Mrs. Babbujeet Kaur delivered an informative and motivating lecture to the students on the harmful effects of drug abuse. They encouraged students to stay away from drugs, adopt a healthy lifestyle, and become responsible citizens who can contribute towards building a drug-free society.

The students actively participated in the National Pledge Against Drug Abuse, taking a collective pledge to stay away from drugs and spread awareness among others.

The activity aimed to empower students with awareness, responsibility and a strong commitment towards a Drug-Free India. 🌱🇮🇳

The school proudly organised a vibrant Art Exhibition showcasing the creativity, imagination and artistic talent of students from Classes 3rd to 12th. 🖌️🌈

The exhibition was conducted under the guidance of Mrs. Amandeep Kaur Mam, with the valuable support of Mrs. Ena Paul. Students displayed their beautiful artwork with great enthusiasm and confidence, making the exhibition a wonderful celebration of art and creativity. 👏🎨

🖌️ Partition Horrors Remembrance Day – A Tribute Through Art 🕊️

Sahibzada Jujhar Singh Public Senior Secondary School, Kotdharmu, Mansa, observed Partition Horrors Remembrance Day with a meaningful Painting Competition for students.

Through colours, creativity and thoughtful artwork, our young artists expressed the pain, struggles, sacrifices and memories associated with the Partition of India. 🇮🇳 Their paintings reflected a powerful message of peace, unity, humanity and remembrance.

The competition provided students with an opportunity to learn about an important chapter of history while expressing their thoughts through art. 🎨✨
