Govt UP School Karad, Wandoor Eventhough it is situated in a very remote village named Karad ; it never failed to show its talents in any feilds of curriculum.

GUPS KAPPILKARAD - KARAD SCHOOL/GUPS KARAD - is one of the well known school in the feild of education;in wandoor educational district(malappuram district,kerala state,INDIA). This school started as an elimentary LP school on 01-06-1927.Then we got an upgradation to UP school.Now we runs classes from Pre-primary to 7th standard. With its vast area of land about 5 acres; it ensures the calm atmosphere for the students. A lot of trees near by gives sufficient Oxygen ;as Oxygen helps the growth of children's mental & physical abilities . Every teacher ; who is working in this institution are not only qualified; but also dedicated to their profession.Each student gets individual attention from teachers; and these are our secret of success. A school bus is running on school days to make students travel more easier & safer.We uses our ample playground to grow the skills of students in sports & games. PTA (Parents Teachers Association) gives moral as well as physical support for educational experiments ( only if it is good for students). PTA takes a review of the programmes conducted in school and helps to plan/improve the future activities.In addition to this ; ward members, Clubs & politicians in this area are very font of this school and gives help to every programmes/celebrations in this school.
