I had the pleasure of meeting various Shariah scholars and professionals from the MENA region and Malaysia during the Ninth Shariah Departments Forum 2024, organized by the Professionals Association at the Palace Downtown in Dubai. This event provided an excellent opportunity to reconnect with colleagues and friends in the Islamic finance field, as well as to introduce new faces to the industry. The sessions offered were highly informative and beneficial for Shariah professionals working in Islamic financial institutions. Overall, it was a valuable experience for learning and networking among participants
