Octofeb Storytelling, as an art form, has been in existence for centuries together. It involves narrating events in an interesting manner, often by improvising or embellishing a situation to make it appealing, entertaining and engaging to the listener.
Daily Ashok & Grandfather
I have "H" in my name so please don't get confused with Asok, the intern in Dilbert! Btw, did I tell Hello! I'm Ashok. He is my grand father. But I still love him.
My parents want me to get into Indian Institute of Technology. I somehow think this is too much for a 7th grader who loves to just Eat, Sleep and Play. There is an important person in my life that I consider as my role model. He is such an irritating character. I have few interesting stories to share and I thought I could share it on Facebook. Hope they are interesting to you too. Thanks for reading.

I always believe that children(or even adults) can be educated using visual communication as a tool. For kids, I believe comics is a great tool. One day this is going to be big and I think this is the first step!
Revolutionizing Education through Comics - the Octofeb story Octofeb spreads educational concepts through visual narratives and storytelling through comic characters.
Hello All - It has been a great 2013. Started Daily Ashok & Grandfather this year. Today being the new year's eve, I would like to take this opportunity to thank those who were either directly or indirectly involved with it. To begin with, (1) Karthick Vel - who wrote the first official script/story for Daily Ashok & Grandfather. Scripts/Stories that were written by him are very well received by students. He played(and he still does) a big role in defining the character traits. If people love Ashok or Grandfather it is mainly because of him. Thanks a lot Karthick. (2) Sriram Ananthakrishnan - He is the back bone and brain behind the art work. I have been taking "Ashok and GF" to different people and one common feedback from everybody is, "Art work is great!!". Thanks to the immensely talented comic artist and a big Thanks to Sudharsan Koushik who introduced me to Sriram. Hope our association continues Sriram. (3) Priyanka.S.Iyengar and Meenakshi Kishan - Most of the comics were proof read by these 2 folks. Not just correcting the mistakes but also shortening the dialogues was their work. Shortening the dialogues helped me in budgeting too ;) Thanks a lot guys for your time and favor. (4) Mr.Paisal - Graphic Designer, It was because of him only I was able to come out with a booklet of 12 pages. I used this booklet and presented it to people who attended Bangalore Comic Con in June 2013 and Thanks to Gowri Shankar who introduced me to Mr.Paisal. (5) Suhas Mahesh, an Indian Institute of Science student who helped me take "Ashok and GF" to different people during the Bangalore Comic con 2013. Thanks Suhas. (6) To those who have liked the page, I must thank you for the "Likes"/"Comments" and feedback :). I wish you guys were more brutal in your feedback :). (7) Mr.Naveen Valsakumar - Founder of Notion Press Publishing, Chennai. He was the one who suggested me to create a facebook for "Ashok and GF" mainly to build an audience and get their feedback. Thanks a lot Naveen. I am sure I will come back to you someday. (8) It will be really incomplete without Thanking my parents, few of my relatives and friends(especially Rahul Parab, Nupur Lal, Sivapalaniappan, Koushik Venkatesh), who inspired/discussed/argued/brain-stormed about the idea. Thanks to everybody.
I can definitely say by the end of 2014 "Ashok and GF" would have crossed another big step and for that as always I need your support. Thanks again to all and Have a wonderful 2014.
