Fitterā€™s jobs are metal working operations which usually complement machining or finish the product by assembling and adjusting. Fitting operations are done by means of hand and power tools or machine tools. The role of the fitter is essential to manufacturing the mastery of all kinds of manual metal working operations in high precision and high accuracy. The mechanical engineering can n

ot to without fitting operations. Any machine, mechanism or instrument requires the fitter for is assembly and adjustment. The fitter must be able to use all kinds of precision instruments for this metal working tasks and widely range in volume and complexity. He may be required to carry out machine tool installation and repairs or to makes jigs and tools. The skill of fitter manifests itself in high workmanship and productivity of his labor.
