The only real training for researcher is to do research; but the Association for Research & Advanced Studies is contributing to it.

Devki Devi Jain Memorial College for Women in collaboration with Association for Research and Advanced Studies (ARAS), successfully organized a 7 Day National Workshop on “Research Methods and Techniques for Quality Publications” from 25th to 31st December 2019. On the first day of the workshop, Dr. Sarita Bahl, Principal of the college and Dr. Mohd. Saleem, President of the Association welcomed the resource person and the participants of the workshop.
The participants, who attended the workshop, were from different states of the country including Maharashtra, Himachal Pradesh, Haryana, New Delhi etc. This workshop was focused on hands on experience of different research techniques applicable on Time Series data and Penal Data for quality publications. The resource person, Dr. Miklesh Yadav from FIIB, New Delhi, on the first three days of the workshop discussed about basics of Time series data, Deterministic and Stochastic trend, ARIMA model for forecasting the series. On the next three days of the workshop, Prof. Dinesh Jaisinghani from IMI, New Delhi, discussed all about Penal Data, Dynamic Penal, REM etc. On the last day of the workshop Dr. Jatin Goyal, Ex-fellow, Punjabi University, Patiala, discussed about the basic tools used in Excel.

Registration Form 7 Day National Workshop on "Research Methods and Techniques for Quality Publications" from 25th to 31st Dec 2019

5 Day Workshop on 'Project Report Writing & Discovering Statistics through Excel' was conducted by ARAS in collaboration with Khalsa College for Women, Civil Lines, Ludhiana from May 28-June 1, 2019. This workshop was primarily focused for the BBA students who prepare the Project Report for the partial fulfillment of their Bachelor Degree. Dr. Seema Malik from Department of Commerce, BPS Women University, Sonipat, disseminate the knowledge of project report writing to the students for the first 2 days of the workshop. Prof. Sanjay Gupta from Sri Aurobindo College of Commerce & Management, Ludhiana and the Founder Member of ARAS, gives basic statistical tips of excel to the students which help in writing the project report. Dr. Mohd. Saleem, President, ARAS congratulated the students for attending the workshop and learning the basics of research at their initial stage of higher education. He also express gratitude and appreciated the efforts of Dr. Mukti Gill, Principal, KCW for encouraging the college students for learning the practical aspect of statistics.
