Play Schools Association of Ludhiana

Honouring Master Vibhu Bhaskar Sareen, son of Mr. Prashant Sareen, born on 26 May 2015, has emerged as an outstanding budding sports star whose achievements merit recognition at the highest forums. His exemplary performances at international, national, and state-level Karate championships highlight his talent, discipline, and dedication.

Vibhu trains at Warriors Journey Dojo Martial Arts School and is a registered athlete under the Major Sareen Karate Development Society, affiliated with the Sports Karate Organisation of Punjab and the Karate India Organisation (KIO)—the only Karate body in India recognized by the World Karate Federation (WKF).

At just 10 years of age, he has already represented Punjab and India in over 90 championships, winning multiple honours. Some of his notable achievements include:
• Silver Medal – Team Kata (U-14)
• Bronze Medal – Kumite (U-12)
11th Commonwealth Club Karate Championships 2024, South Africa
• Bronze Medal – Kumite (U-12)
2nd Youth Asian Karate Championships 2025, China
• Represented India at the
1st Youth South Asian Karate Championships 2025
• World Records (2025):
– 118 Roundhouse Kicks in One Minute
– 1 hour 20 minutes Split Hold
(Recognised by the International Book of Records & World Wide Book of Records)
• Awarded the Youngest 2nd Dan Black Belt by KIO (WKF-recognised body)

His exceptional journey at such a young age has made him a source of pride for the state and a role model for young athletes.

In view of his extraordinary accomplishments, the PSAL honours Master Vibhu Bhaskar Sareen in the upcoming Executive Body Meeting and to extend PSAL’s full support towards his nomination for the Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar 2025 (Nomination ID: 447582, submitted on 15 August 2025).

On behalf of PSAL, relief material for flood affected families generously collected by Little Learners Preschool Parvinder Kaur, Amanpreet Singh, ABC Magical World , and Satpal Singh, Sun Solutions⁩ was handed over to the Rotary Club at Jalandhar.
Rotary is organizing medical camps in the flood hit villages, where the medicines from this relief material will be utilized. The remaining material will be segregated and distributed on the ground as per the evolving needs of the affected communities.
A heartfelt thank you to all contributors for extending a helping hand in this time of need.

We are pleased to announce that the recent meeting of the PSAL executive body with the Ludhiana CBSE Chief City Co-ordinator Ms. Waraich was an overwhelming success. The discussions were centered around the various challenges that parents have been encountering, particularly concerning the timing and uniformity of the admission process in CBSE schools across the city. - 14th Aug 2024
