HVM Convent School Organises Show and Tell Activity

HVM Convent School organised a Show and Tell Activity for the students of Pre-Nursery to UKG to nurture their speaking skills, confidence and ability to express themselves. The young learners enthusiastically brought their favourite toys, including soft toys, dolls and other colourful plastic toys, and spoke about them in 56 sentences. The students were assessed on the basis of content, pronunciation, confidence and verbal expressions. The activity provided them with an engaging platform to overcome stage hesitation and express their thoughts in a clear and joyful manner.

All the distinguished managing committee members of the school and Principal Ms. Maninder Kaur appreciated the enthusiastic participation of the little learners and encouraged them to continue expressing themselves with confidence and remarked that such activities play an important role in developing communication skills and nurturing young minds into confident speakers.

HVM Convent School Celebrates Independence Day

HVM Convent School celebrated Independence Day with great patriotic fervour and enthusiasm. The school premises echoed with the spirit of patriotism as students and teachers came together to commemorate the nation’s freedom.
A colourful patriotic cultural programme was organised, featuring inspiring songs, dances, speeches and skits highlighting the sacrifices of freedom fighters and the values of unity, peace and national pride. The students added charm to the celebrations by coming dressed in vibrant tricolour outfits, creating a beautiful patriotic ambience. The programme concluded with the National Anthem, leaving everyone filled with pride and love for the nation.
All the distinguished managing committee members of the school and Principal Ms. Maninder Kaur congratulated the students and staff on the occasion and said, “Independence is not merely a celebration but a reminder of our responsibility towards our nation. Let us nurture our children with the values of unity, discipline, compassion and patriotism, and inspire them to become responsible citizens of tomorrow.”
