Designed for working professionals, the two-year programme combines the flexibility of live online learning with immersive on-campus modules, enabling participants to pursue a rigorous management education while continuing their professional careers.

Prof. M.P. Gupta, Director, IIM Lucknow, attended the BRICS 2026 Cyber Security Exercises and Drills held in New Delhi from 14–16 May 2026 under India’s BRICS Chairship.

The event brought together representatives from central banks, regulatory bodies, and cybersecurity institutions from multiple countries to discuss emerging technologies, cyber resilience, and the future of secure digital ecosystems.

Centered around the theme “Building for Resilience, Innovation, Cooperation and Sustainability,” the discussions highlighted the growing importance of international collaboration in addressing evolving cyber risks and strengthening resilient financial and technological systems.

IIM Lucknow participated in the Meeting of the Coordination Forum of IIMs held at IIM Ahmedabad in the presence of Shri Dharmendra Pradhan, Hon'ble Minister of Education, Government of India. Where industry insight meets academic excellence!

IIM Lucknow Noida Campus recently hosted an engaging industry-academia case competition in collaboration with Pansari Group, bringing together the dynamic participants of the IPMX 19 cohort, the institute’s one-year full-time Executive MBA programme.

With 23 teams tackling real-world FMCG operational and supply chain challenges, participants showcased strategic thinking, analytical depth, and ex*****on-driven solutions across areas such as inventory management, demand forecasting, shelf-life optimization, and distributor network efficiency.

The top six teams presented their recommendations before an esteemed industry panel led by Mr. Shammi Agarwal, Managing Director, and other senior leadership of Pansari Group, alongside Prof. Satyabhusan Dash (Dean, IIM Lucknow Noida Campus), Prof. Kaushik Bhattacharya (Chairperson, Student Affairs, IIM Lucknow Noida Campus), and Prof. Arvind Shroff (Operations Management), IIM Lucknow.

The competition served as a powerful platform for experiential learning, reinforcing the importance of industry collaboration in shaping future-ready business leaders.

Congratulations to Harsh*t Agarwal (ABM, 27) and Dr. Chetan Duggirala (PGP, 27), students of Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, on emerging as National Winners of the Paytm Project AI Case Competition in the Business Track.

Their AI-first solution addressed key challenges faced by Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) in India through innovations in inventory tracking, credit tracking, and AI-based loan underwriting. Backed by extensive field research and data-driven ex*****on, their work was recognised for its innovation and real-world impact.

The team also received prizes worth ₹5 Lakhs along with a PPI/PPO opportunity with Paytm.

Congratulations to Pratik Biswas, Research Scholar, IIM Lucknow, and Prof. Chandan Sharma, Professor, Economics and Business Environment, IIM Lucknow, on their publication in the Journal of Commodity Markets (ABDC-A, JCR Impact Factor 4.5).

Their research, “Quantifying Electricity Market Stress: Constructing and Validating the Stress Index with Evidence from India,” introduces the Electricity Market Stress Index (EMSI), developed using high-frequency data to capture volatility, supply–demand imbalances, and market disruptions. The study highlights EMSI’s strong predictive power, its impact on key indices such as Nifty Energy and Nifty Metal, and its ability to capture global shocks including COVID-19 and the Russia–Ukraine war.

The findings offer valuable insights for policymakers, investors, and market participants, strengthening data-driven decision-making in the evolving energy market landscape.

Congratulations to Siddartha Kathi, Research Scholar, Indian Institute of Management Lucknow, and Prof. Yash Daultani, Professor, Operations and Supply Chain Management, IIM Lucknow, on receiving the Best Paper Award at the Management Doctoral Colloquium – Shodh Samagam 3, held on 18–19 April 2026 at IIM Visakhapatnam.

Their paper, “Topology Meets Demand: Machine Learning-Enhanced Optimization Framework for Airport and Route Selection for Regional Connectivity,” presents a novel approach integrating machine learning with optimization to address challenges in regional connectivity and infrastructure planning.

Congratulations to Dr. Chandan Sharma, Professor, Economics and Business Environment, IIM Lucknow, on the publication of his new book, Indian Economy: A Business Perspective (Wiley, 2025).
