Lawngtlai 1 December, 2025: Today, Monday, the Polling Parties responsible for the elections and managing the voting process for the Lai Autonomous District Council (LADC) elections have left for their respective duty stations this afternoon.
Lawngtlai District Election Officer (DEO), Pu Donny Lalruatsanga, told the Polling Parties that they have been dispatched with money (remuneration) and food for the entire duration, and that they should conduct the election process smoothly without causing any problems. He also instructed the Polling Parties to report back immediately after completing their duties at their respective Polling Stations.
Out of the 25 MDC constituencies where the LADC elections will be held, there are 111 Polling Stations. The 59 Polling Parties assigned to these stations, along with those designated for duty in Lawngtlai and surrounding areas, have departed for their duty stations this afternoon.
