Ishwar Chandra Bandyopadhyay, was an Indian educator and social reformer.[2] His efforts to simplify and modernise Bengali prose were significant. He also rationalised and simplified the Bengali alphabet and type, which had remained unchanged since Charles Wilkins and Panchanan Karmakar had cut the first (wooden) Bengali type in 1780. He is considered the "father of Bengali prose".

साल 1949 में 14 सितंबर को भारत की संविधान सभा ने हिंदी को नवगठित राष्ट्र की आधिकारिक भाषा के रूप में अपनाया था। जिसके बाद साल 1953 में पहली बार हिंदी दिवस मनाया गया था। इंग्लिश, स्पेनिश और मंदारिन के बाद दुनिया में चौथी सबसे ज्यादा बोली जाने वाली भाषा हिंदी है। यहां तक कि कई अंग्रेजी शब्दों की उत्पत्ति भी हिंदी के शब्दों से ही हुई है। तो आज के दिन स्कूल, कॉलेजों और ऑफिसेज़ में हिंदी भाषा के महत्व को बताया जाता है। तरह-तरह के कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाते हैं।

Ganesh Chaturthi is a 10-day grand celebration that is ushered in with a lot of zeal and fervour. While it's a special and significant festival for the Hindu community, it's celebrated with equal enthusiasm by other communities as well and sees celebrations all around the country.
The day is celebrated to honour the birth of Lord Ganesha, who is one of the most adored of all Gods.
Lord Ganesha is honoured as the God of wisdom, prosperity, good fortune and the destroyer of evils. Hence, he is also called 'Vighnaharta'.
On this auspicious occasion G. S. World School wishes you a very Happy Ganesh Chaturthi.
