Ramdas Bhat garu, Sri Kasturi Subramanyam garu, Sri M.D.Y. Rama Moorthy garu Etc., with the holy object of imparting value based education together with our culture patriotism and discipline, more particular
ly, popularizing the Sanskrit Language, which is the mother of all Indian Languages and Bharateeya culture, to the next generation of all the sections of our society, to carve out the best and successful ‘would be citizens’ in the society, making them capable of reaching the pinnacles of success in various walks of life in the society, and stand as the Icons and Role models in their respective areas of life. Our Samajam, under the able guidance of Sri M.R. Diksh*thulu garu, Advocate, had taken up the management of the then “Samskruti Vidya Samajamu vari Samskruta Pathasala, which was till then running in an age old building in I town area, which was running through it’s rough weathers. After the lifetime of Sri M.R. Diksh*thulu garu, his younger brother Sri M.D.Y. Rama Moorthy had taken up the management of S.V.S.V. Samajam and its School, which was then functioning in an old building in Peta area of Kurnool town. With great difficulty, and after strenuous efforts, our Samajam could purchase the present specious premises, with the generous contributions and donations made by the admirers and well wishers of our Samajam. Every stone, brick and mortar of our premises speaks volumes of those memorable monitory as well as moral support rendered by the society at large to our Samajam, to meet the educational needs of the contemporaneous society. Our Samajam had renamed the erstwhile ‘Samskruta Vidya Samajamu vari Sanskrit High School’’ (SVS Sanskrit High School) as ‘Swami Vivekananda Sanskrit High School’ (SVS High School), and surged ahead with it’s mottos “SHEELENA SHOBHATE VIDYA” and “SAMSKRUTAM VINA BHARATEEYAANAAM BHAARATEEYATVAM NAIVA” and make our beloved “SVS High School” a popular and respectable school in the then educational scenario of Kurnool. As we all know, our beloved school has produced the ‘Gems of the core’, with the able, effective and impressive teaching of our stalwart teachers like Late Sri. S.N. Rama Moorthy Sarma, Sri T.R.Maha Lingam, Sri V. Jagan Mohan Rao, Sri Mohan Rao (Drill Sir), Sri H. Heera Lal, Sri M. Sudhakara Sarma, Sri I. Venkateswarlu, Sri P. Santenna, Sri B.
