Idhaya College for Women is one of the ancient and prestigious institutions run by the Franciscan Sister of the Immaculate Heart of Mary , Pondichery in the jubilee year 2000. The College has a student strength numbering to about 3000+, Pursuing 12 under Graduate, 8 post Graduate and one Doctoral degree in Tamil. The College is located in the pilgrim city of Kumbakonam and affiliated to Bharathidhasan University.
