UPSC Prelims 2019 is over!
Now is not the time to relax, but the time to seriously think about, strategise and plan for the real test - UPSC Mains.

Some of you will have checked the answer keys and feel confident about clearing, some of you will have checked and not feeling very confident and many of you will be feeling afraid to confront the possibilities after checking the key and are planning to just wait for the result, afterall the only real key is the UPSC key. Whatever maybe the case, it is important to plan for Mains now if you are serious about making it into the rank list.

It is surprising to note that most aspirants, even the serious ones go into Mains without any proper planning.
This is most likely what drastically reduces their chances of clearing mains, because from a knowledge level perspective there is not a huge gap between most of the candidates who clear prelims.

So what makes the difference?
Being prepared for Mains is ultimately about the following:
1) Covering the syllabus - not broadly but with a clinical precision to address what is mosty likely to be asked
2) Answer writing practise, evaluation and improvement - getting your average answer (3/15 marks) to topper answer (6/15 marks)
3) Revision to be prepared with ready points (this is important because mains is a game of quality v/s time spent per answer)

The average student has likely not even looked at or studied the mains syllabus properly and is not aware about what exactly UPSC demands from him. He is not aware that there are surprisingly, very static areas from which there are consistently sure questions being asked as also very dynamic areas which can be predicted with a reasonable degree of accuracy based on analysing past papers.

So his/her preparation covers only what comes as part of an average test series. Which often times addresses only the answer writing component of his prep, with feedback that is usually subjective and based on individual question rather than the patterns of his answer writing style across GS papers. This does not give them a clear idea of where to improve consistently to get them to a level of a topper - essentially leaving him stuck where he is.

So when they go to write the exam, they are in effect handicapped and not able to cross the average level and go into a topper level due a lack of a proper strategy. But, fear not, you know this today, so you have enough time to think about it and work on it for Mains 2019.

We are planning a 3 day workshop to talk about all these to you.
Also we'll be sharing with you the complete detailed analysis we've done of the past 5 years mains GS papers - trends and patterns, Toppers walking you through their approaches and what worked and what did not, A comprehensive list of 200+ high priority topics for Mains 2019 which you can take and ensure you cover before you go for the exam this year.

We are excited about sharing our work with you. So, we are welcoming you to attend our 3 Day Art of Mains Workshop.
