Creative Hut Academy, formerly Creative Hut Institute of Photography and Film is India’s first Photography Institute with a unique educational system based on Gurukulam. The institute was founded in 2007 and is now located in Mattakkara, Kerala to give its students an ancient traditional education showing love and respect towards nature. Since 2007, it's beginning in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, India, as

the years go by, our dream continues to grow. The Institute is located on the banks of a river commonly known as “Pannagam Thodu” at Mattakkara which is 18 Km from Kottayam, “the City of Letters” which is now also known as "Picture City". The blowing of the winds, the flowing of the river, the rhythm of rain, the changing clouds, and the ever foliage make you experience the most natural sounds and colors of nature. Being a photogenic place, it helps you work in different lighting conditions and angles that give each photo a new vibrant art scene. We are humbled by the support of our enthusiastic mentors, glad about the success of our students, and thankful to all well-wishers who contributed in making our dreams possible. What led us in our journey was a dream to create a place where creative people could learn how to take their passion forward and make it their career.

For some, life is built on a simple idea. For others, it contains countless realities waiting to be explored.
Like a spectrum hidden within light, the extraordinary often exists inside the ordinary... waiting to be discovered.

"SPECTRA" is a collection of those hidden layers.

A spectrum remains invisible until light reveals it. The same is true of life. Beneath every experience lies a blend of emotions, memories, victories, struggles, failures, celebrations, creativity, and expressions that are sometimes silent and sometimes very loud. Each reveals itself differently, depending on how we choose to see it.

Through diverse visual narratives, "SPECTRA" Photography Portfolio by Boya Naveen Kumar, he uncovers the beauty that often goes unnoticed. Every frame is a reminder that the world is rarely one thing; it is a spectrum of perspectives, stories, and experiences.

Because what we see is only the beginning. What we discover is where the story truly begins.

We built ours into a one-year course.

Professional Diploma in AI Filmmaking and Digital Cinematography.
Residential campus in Kottayam, Kerala. Mentored by Abin Alex and Anu Joseph. Cameras, lights, lenses, AI tools and one year to figure out which story is yours to tell.
By the end, you'll have a portfolio in Photography and Cinematography that walks into rooms before you do. You'll also hold a credit on the batch's AI Film Production.
The course ends. The story continues.

In Indian philosophy and performing arts, Rasa is the soul of expression, the emotion that transforms an experience into something deeply felt. What could be the best title than "Rasa" for a person who is fond of dancing and is a trained dancer.

"RASA" is a photography portfolio by Alka Mohan, inspired by the idea that life itself is a canvas of emotions. Like a dancer whose movements bring stories to life, every photograph captures feelings that transcend words and connect us through shared human experiences.

Through light, shadows, colors, and moments frozen in time, RASA explores the emotions that shape our lives. Some moments fill us with joy, some with wonder, and others with quiet reflection.

Just as classical dance communicates through expressions and gestures, photography speaks through composition and light. Both seek the same purpose, to evoke emotion and preserve the beauty of life's experiences.

Every film has a beginning. Ours began in a classroom.
What started as an idea among students and faculties evolved into an ambitious cinematic journey powered by creativity, determination, and artificial intelligence. Without cameras, without location shoots, and without traditional performers, a group of students of 2025-2026 batch with faculties set out to create something that seemed impossible, until it was created.

Through countless hours of discussion, story building, script, experimentation, learning, failures, and breakthroughs, we transformed imagination into moving images and stories into a Film. Every frame was crafted through a unique blend of human vision and AI-assisted filmmaking.

"Rising Embers" is a testament to what can happen when education meets innovation, when students dare to challenge convention, and when a single spark grows into something extraordinary.

It is a mosaic of experiences; like moments of freedom, expressions of beauty, celebrations of culture, creations of craftsmanship, and the simple joys found in everyday details. Individually, these moments may seem unrelated. Together, they tell a story.

"MOSAIC" is a photography portfolio by Krishna P S that explores the richness of life's diversity through multiple genres of photography. From birds soaring across open skies to the elegance of fashion, from the artistry of food to the precision of product and jewellery photography, each image represents a unique fragment of a larger picture.

Just as countless pieces come together to create a mosaic, every photograph contributes to a visual narrative that reflects curiosity, creativity, and perspective. With this portfolio, Krishna who is also a beautiful singer, made us realize the idea that beauty is not confined to any single subject. it exists everywhere, waiting to be discovered.

Some moments arrive quietly and disappear before we realize their value. A smile shared with a stranger, the golden light before sunset, a childhood memory, a passing season; life is filled with experiences that exist only for a moment.

“Ephemeral” a photography portfolio by Shivanshu Prasad explores the beauty of these fleeting moments. Through a collection of carefully observed images, the portfolio reflects on the transient nature of life and the importance of appreciating the present before it slips away. Because, life's beauty lies in the fact that it won't last forever.

Every photograph serves as a reminder that permanence is rare, yet meaning is often found in what is at present. What fades from sight can remain alive in memory, shaping who we are and how we see the world.
