Importance of Togetherness
An online Virtual T**Z festival celebrated on zoom and on Nimi National channel by Smt.shilpi Rani Instructor Govt. ITI (W) kotkapura and with the help of other teachers. More than 300 students participated in this event with great zeal and zest. All the girls and teachers were dressed in traditional Indian wear.
Online programe was started with the introduction and what the occasion signify. Smt. Monika said that the monsoon festivals of Teej are primarily dedicated to Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva. It is believed that Goddess Parvati and Lord Shiva were united on this day. Lord Shiva accepted Parvati as his wife. it is believed that whosoever remembers her on this day will be blessed with a happy married life and all her desires will be fulfilled.
It is a very essential thing to teach the importance of Teej festivals to students. At present time, the value of festivals has decreased down. But, we need to make an effort to teach our students the importance of festivals for keeping up the traditions for life long.
