A historic day for India, when General (later Field Marshal) KM Cariappa, KStJ, OBE, became the first Indian to take charge of the Indian Army in 1949 from General Sir Francis Robert Roy Bucher, who was the last English Commander of our nation's Army. Army Day is a celebration of India’s military might and its unsung heroes. MIT-WPU salutes all Indian Army personnel for their invincible courage, valor, and unflinching loyalty.

Remembering Late. Shri T N Seshan Ji on his birth anniversary, the man who led the clean up of India's electoral system - a colossal task. As the First Chairman of MIT-School of Government, Late. Seshan Ji supported & mentored Shri. Rahul V Karad in realizing his dream- the ‘Concept of Educated Youth Pursuing a Career in Politics’. As a Higher Education Institution, we consider ourselves privileged in knowing and working with him for the major span of his later life until his very last breath.
