School of Chemical Engineering, MIT World Peace University has signed a MOU with Amophil Chemicals Pvt Ltd, Vadodara, Gujarat on various areas of engagement related to academic and industrial research. Amophil Chemicals Pvt Ltd, Vadodara, Gujarat is in the business of manufacturing Intermediaries and specialty chemicals. It was a pleasure to have Mr. Varun Patel (Director), Mr. Shripad Kher (Director), and Mr. Mihir Abhayankar (General Manager-Operations) from Amophil Chemicals Pvt Ltd, Vadodara, Gujarat for the event.
This partnership will give real-world industry exposure and opportunities for research to the students and faculty thus providing inputs for continuous curriculum upgrades. It will go a long way in improving the skill set of the students and taking industrial research to the next level. The MOU was initiated by Prof. Niraj S. Topare, Assistant Professor, School of Chemical Engineering, MIT World Peace University, Pune.

Chemical Engineering at MITWPU: Episode 3

Continuing with our series, in today’s part we will see the difference between passive learning methods and active learning methods. Traditional lecturing methods are many a times disliked by the students. Active learning methods are more student centric and engaging. Dr. Anand Kulkarni talks about the active learning methods practiced at the School of Chemical Engineering.
