Spent the last 10 days at learning with the wonderful , who came all the way from Montana. It was such a special experience to spend time observing her approach to clay — simple techniques, yet so thoughtful and impactful, and a way of seeing pottery from a completely new angle.

Coming back to the farm always feels familiar and grounding. The place never disappoints. Between long hours of working with clay, learning, unlearning, building forms, and exchanging ideas with fellow potters, it turned into a truly enriching time.

Grateful to for curating this intensive and bringing everyone together. Already looking forward to being back at the farm again soon. 🌿

My first ever Christmas pop-up exhibition, and I walked into it carrying a lot of anxiety.

We had very little time. I didn’t know what all to take, or if people would even want to buy what I make. I’m always critical of my work and rarely allow myself to truly appreciate it—this time was no different.

Sunny stood by me through everything. I honestly don’t know how I would’ve managed without him. We drove back and forth to the studio 4–5 times a day, often at odd hours, just to finish pending work. And still, it never felt like enough.

In the middle of all this, one firing went completely berserk—patchy surfaces, discoloured pieces—and I was heartbroken. With just one day left before the market, I was genuinely worried whether I’d even break even financially.

Somewhere amidst all of this, I forgot to take enough pictures or shoot any ‘content’. But I hope these words, and the feelings behind them, can fill that gap.

The market, however, turned out to be kind. I was humbled by the support—from people I knew, people I didn’t, and even quiet onlookers who stopped by.

I won’t say I’ve overcome my self-doubt, but I’m doing a little better—thanks to friends and family. Thank you 🌼

Grateful to Mashu for believing I was capable of exhibiting and pushing me to do this.
Grateful to Sunny for being my rock.
Grateful to my friends who always show up.
To Ma and Hrid, for everything else.
And grateful to myself—for trusting and doing this.

Here’s to one of many firsts with Karu. ✨

A small throwback to the day we unpacked my very first collection — with my oldest friend by my side. Chitchats, assurance in the form of warm smiles and the simple joy of holding first finished pieces ✨
