Our 'Preparing Math Mind' module is a suite of programs for students helping them fall in love with Mathematics. Mathematics curriculum are usually defined very narrowly and does not help students to learn how to ask mathematics questions. Students are rarely introduced with the mathematical ideas behind the
formulas, procedures and theorems and that is what is important to help them fall in Math

Ganit Charcha (It's All About Mathematics) is delighted to announce that Prof. Soumik Das, Vice Principal of Techno Main Salt Lake, acclaimed professional musician, and recipient of the Mirchi Music Award 2019, has graciously agreed to share an Invited Article to the June 2026 issue of Ganit Charcha Mathematics Magazine.

His article, “Noughts and Crosses”, takes the familiar game of Tic-Tac-Toe and explores it through the lens of mathematics. By shedding light on the underlying structures, strategies, and logical patterns, Prof. Das reveals how even a simple childhood game can open doors to deeper mathematical insights.

Ganit Charcha is glad to share that Dr. Suman Roy, Consulting Member of Technical Staff with Oracle AI Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) group in Bangalore, India, has agreed to share an insightful article with title - ``Looking to Summarize a Text? An LLM is Your Perfect All-in-One Solution’’

Dr Suman Roy is a B.E. from Jadavpur University, Kolkata and M.E and PhD from Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. He has served academic positions as a vesting fellow at places including UNU/IIST, Macau and NMT, Socorro, USA.

He has worked in for several Industrial Research Labs including Mercedes Benz, Satyam Computer Services, GE Capital, Honeywell Technology Solutions, Infosys and Optum Global Solutions (I) Pvt Ltd in India. He has published several papers in top ranking journals (10 journal papers) and conferences (50+ conference papers) and have 21 granted patents with USPTO.
