The Institute of Indian Foundrymen (IIF) marked a defining chapter in its 76-year history, as it convened the 75th Annual General Meeting at Hotel Marriott, Jaipur, from 6.00 PM onward on August 7, 2026. The evening brought together foundrymen from across the country to celebrate three-quarters of a century plus one year of service to the Indian foundry industry, as the outgoing National Office Bearers (NOB) for the 2025–26 term ceremonially handed over the reins of leadership to the incoming 2026–27 NOB team.

The Presidential Theme for 2026–27, “Innovation • Sustainability • Global Excellence”, unveiled at the AGM, celebrates the collective resolve of the Institute to lead the Indian foundry industry into a new era of technological advancement, sustainable manufacturing and international supremacy. The emblem captures a shared vision wherein each innovation, every sustainable practice and milestone achievement contributes to strengthening the industry's journey towards global excellence.
In keeping with tradition, the Annual Report and Financial Statements for 2025-26 were presented and adopted, and the Statutory Auditor for 2026-27 was formally ratified. Both incoming and outgoing National Office Bearers were warmly felicitated for their contributions to the Institute's growth.
The event also included a presentation and brochure launch previewing the forthcoming 75th Indian Foundry Congress (IFC) and IFEX 2027 to be held at India Expo Centre & Mart, Greater Noida on Feb 8-9-10, 2027 under the theme “Innovate for new opportunities,” which would be bringing together foundry industry leaders, casting buyers, material suppliers, service providers academicians, researchers, students, to deliberate on issues concerning the metal-casting fraternity.
