HBS is committed to pursue the highest standards of academic excellence in all our endeavours

Inspired by the noble cause of education and philanthropic zeal, a group of twenty-two like minded industrialists in Kolkata established in 1990 the Kalyan Bharti Trust (KBT), a charitable educational establishment, to promote and provide higher education in the State of West Bengal. To achieve KBT’s objective, Heritage Business School, Kolkata, formerly known as Management Education Center, HITK was established in 2003 to offer full time MBA program to aspiring management graduates.
