BROCA, the Debating and Quizzing Society of Calcutta National Medical College presents to you for the first time TORIBIA TAIKAI- the Anime Trivia Quiz, under the aegis of AGON 2k23. Delve into the captivating world of anime and relive iconic moments that have left an indelible mark on many. From Goku's amazing journey to Ultra Instinct and Luffy's quest to become the King of Pirates to simping over Uzui Tengen's wives, this quiz will challenge your knowledge on thrilling battles, emotional twists and unforgettable character interactions. Whether you're predicting Light's next move or dancing along to Bink's Sake, this quiz is a ticket to your journey filled with nostalgia, excitement and joy of all things anime.

Rules & Regulations:

1. The Quiz is open to participants of age 17 years till 30 years. Participants must carry an Age Proof or Institution ID Card.

2. Participants from non-medical colleges are welcome too.

3. Teams of 2 or 3 are allowed.

4. Cross college teams are allowed.

5. Registration fees: Rs 100 (Team of 2); Rs 135/- (Team of 3)

6. Spot Registrations are available: Rs 10/- over the pre-booking fees.

Structure of the Quiz:

1. Scope of the quiz:
i. Naruto + Naruto Shippuden
ii. Bleach (Anime story up-to-date)
iii. One Piece
iv. Black Clover
v. Death Note
vi. Attack on Titan
vii. Demon Slayer
viii. Hunter x Hunter
ix. Full Metal Alchemist : Brotherhood
x. Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures (All seasons – Anime only)
xi. Dragon Ball Universe

2. Only Anime- No Manga, No Filler Episodes, and No Non-Cannon Movies

3. There will be 4 rounds of progressive elimination, with the first round being the Prelims (written). Subsequent rounds will feature many surprises, which will be informed in due time.

4. QM's decision shall be final .

Sports carry a sense of vitality that connects to our core. They carry a lesson, a passion and stir a plethora of emotions. We laugh, we cry, we celebrate and feel amazed at witnessing extraordinary displays of determination, skill and the play of fortune in our beloved sports. We look up, lambast, glorify and dream to reach the level of various sports icons. We bond as well as compete over the love or hate for individuals, teams and nations. Not to forget how we try to imbibe as many facts and stories as we can along the way. Hence, BROCA, the Debating & Quizzing Society of CNMCH, is delighted to bring forth another edition of "SPORACLE", our annual Intercollege Sports Quiz event, under the aegis of AGON 2k23. Whether you're a die-hard fan or a curious learner, this quiz promises an adventure that will challenge your wits and thereby deepen your connection with the captivating universe of sports. Are you ready to take the plunge into the world of sports trivia?"

Rules and regulations:

1. The quiz is open to "all college students". Participants should carry their college ID cards.
2. Teams of 2/Lonewolf allowed.
3. Cross college teams are allowed.
4. Names of the participants and their team should be filled up in the Google forms provided by the coordinators during registration where all the payment details are provided.
5. Reg fees: Rs 120;Spot Registrations are available: Rs 10/- extra
6. There will be a preliminary selection round (written), consisting of 20 questions; following which 5-8 teams will be selected for further rounds decided by the QMs. Interesting formats await.

Do you know which poison killed Socrates? Which particular practice gave origin to “Phlebotomy”? What do the images in our poster convey? Are you willing to break the fourth rule of "Fight Club"? For the medically curious and intuitive, BROCA, the Debating and Quizzing Society of Calcutta National Medical College, brings forth the "9th EDITION" of the acclaimed PULSE, an Intercollege Medi-Trivia Quiz, organized by our famed alumni – "Dr. Snehanshu Shekhar Samanta, Dr. Debaditya Das, and Dr. Sagnik Biswas". On 20th Sept afternoon, we welcome you to make new memories or relive the good ol' days, meet up with old friends or forge new ones and engage in a thrilling session of learning the new, far away from the hustle and bustle of daily lives.

Rules and regulations:

1. This is a Medi-trivia quiz---not a Medical entrance or a Professional exam. Questions will correlate with movies, anecdotes, literature, art and so on and most are designed to be answerable by any medical enthusiast irrespective of the professional level.
2. The quiz is open to all medical students from UG level to PG level. Participants should carry their institution ID cards.
3. Team of 2: Rs 100/- and Team of 3: Rs 180/-.
4. Cross college teams are allowed.
5. Names of participants and team should be filled in the Google forms provided by the coordinators during registration, where all the payment details are provided.
6. Spot Registrations available at no extra cost.
7. Individual prizes to be won.

The previous date clashed with many quizzes and a number of quizzers had requested us to change the date. So we are announcing this new date to accommodate all and we request other organisers to schedule their events keeping this date in mind. Here are the new posters.

Broca - The Debating and Quizzing Society of CNMC collaborated with AMSA, CNMC to organise "MEDIGENE-IUS 2020", a trivia-based Mediquiz for CNMC students on 9th August, 2020.

A big Thank you to the Quizmasters - Dr. Snehangshu Shekhar Samanta, Dr. Debaditya Das and Dr. Sagnik Biswas for taking out time from their busy schedule and conducting such a great quiz.
