Conducted two hours Awareness Session on "International Worker's Day" with the JUNGLE CROW group under the Micro Access Microscholarship Programme, run by the American Center, Kolkata. India began celebrating Labour Day on May 1, 1923, in Chennai, which is also known as 'Kamgar Divas', 'Kamgar Din', and 'Antrarashtriya Shramik Divas'. The participants were provided with reading, listening tasks that enriched their concept related to the special Day. They were also made to interact through various interactive activities wherein they spoke about the importance of this day. Also known as May Day, the Worker's Day was observed to raise awareness and to educate our participants about the importance and rights of workers. Our Access students wrote down wonderful messages in appreciation of the workers hard work as well as achievement of their service. As a collaborative task, our students also made wonderful posters displaying powerful messages recognising the hard work, dedication of the service providers.

Loved the way the Access students showed their exuberant enthusiasm levels. They were highly energetic as they participated in various fun filled activities. Did have a quality day with the students and that's indeed a great reward as a facilitator. Extending my sincere thanks and wishes to the Kolkata American Center especially to for his unique opportunity which I always cherish and look forward to....

I remember the last time I met you and we had such wonderful moments at your place. The Access family will always miss such a dedicated and creative teacher like you. Sorry I failed connecting you and now I am going through an excruciating pain.
