Globsyn Group’s employees across business divisions, students and its CSR arm Kalyani, have come together to extend a helping hand to the victims of the catastrophic flood to hit the State of Uttarakhand by contributing to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund to aid in reaching much needed help and succour to the unfortunate victims of this tragic natural disaster. Senior Managers from Globsyn personally travelled to to hand over the donation to the Chief Minister - Mr. Vijay Bahuguna.

Globsyn Media Ventures, a part of the Globsyn Group announced today, its entry into the movie and entertainment space with its debut home production, Ab**to. The film which is actor Arindam Sil’s directorial debut is about ambition, values and relationships against the backdrop of today’s corporate world. The film will appeal to both the rural and urban mass and the film relates to the youth and their professional journey amongst other things.

The film stars Kaushik Ganguly, Barun Chanda, Abir Chatterjee, Tota Ray Chowdhury, Resshmi Ghosh, Jaya Ahsan, Locket Chatterjee, Saswata Chatterjee. Ritwick Chakrabarty and others. The film’s music has been composed by Bickram Ghosh while the cinematographer is Soumik Haldar.

Globsyn Media Ventures plans to produce many more relevant Bengali films in the future. The logo cm first look of the film, which will release on 1st March next year, was unveiled at Crossword on Wednesday in presence of a few members of the cast and crew.
