Deeply condemn media's ugly role in polluting the image of film schools. I guess at the current social scenario we women are sexually threatened everywhere, be it in a crowded bus or even in a family gathering. Why highlighting SRFTI specifically?? SRFTI has always been a safe place for me, even when there is no clear distinction between the hostels for male and female students... I had drunk parties, late night addas, garam cha in the first hour of morning and in most of the cases the majority was my male classmates. Film schools usually have lesser number of female students but does that necessarily need to be a sexually threatening place for girls? Nobody has been proven guilty yet, and the media has started making it a crispy gossip story. What about other female students? Who feel the boundaries of SRFTI actually make it a safer place like home? I AM A FEMALE STUDENT OF SRFTI AND I AM PROUD TO SAY THAT I HAVE NEVER EVER FELT THIS PLACE TO BE SEXUALLY THREATENING. So spineless media stop throwing bu****it.
Speak up people, be vocal against this. Not only girls, all the students who feel the same come forward. How long shall we stay silent?

For all outdoor locations, very often you will be met by the requirement to address the Councillor of a certain area.
